To those using Facebook and You Tube for live streaming and video hosting the consequences of the new rules regarding streaming music can be quite dramatic. Both platforms are increasingly shutting down streams where the content includes music.
With Facebook you get a standard takedown notice, followed by another warning that you are repeatedly in breach of the rules, followed by a 3-day ban from going live.
You then receive a warning which informs you that continued breaches will lead to a permanent and irreversible live ban.
Pages can be taken down regardless of how much you might have spent on advertising etc.
Of course if you’re not playing anything copyright related you can carry on as normal.
